2 cool and completely unrelated things!!

Hey there fellow humans!!!  Quartermaster speaking.

So, as you may have guessed from the title of this post, I have found, from the depths of the internet, 2 things that you may find interesting.  :D

#1:  I found this interview...it made me laugh

"No, we are totally different. There is nothing I can relate to in Captain Jack whatsoever," Depp says obviously joking about his now signature role.  Becoming somewhat serious he adds, "Any character you play there is a part of you goes into that in terms of the ingredients of making this, whatever, stew. There is definitely a part of me in Captain Jack and now, fortunately or unfortunately, there is a great part of Captain Jack in me as well.  Basically, I can't shake him. He won't leave me alone. He keeps showing up at odd times. In fact, he showed up this morning when I was getting my kids ready for school. I had to shoo him away."


Hehehehe!!!  How amusing.

#2:  News from Johnny Depp on POTC 5/6!!!

"There is a very clever idea in terms of 'Pirates 5 and 6,'" Depp reveals. "We're actually going to shoot them on the ride. Actually going around in a circle. Sort of like Andy Warhool's 'Sleep.'  Just close ups on everyone."

Mwahahahaha!!!!  Doesn't that sound fascinating?  I thought it did.

Fan art and Fan Fiction

Ok, everyone,  it's time for our first FanArt/FanFic competition!

This time we won't do any special themes, other than POTC. The winners... they'll get something, probably to be a guest on our podcast or something internet related... you also get bragging rights ;).

Fan Art

• Rules
• It has to be your OWN work (I would like to see a watermark/ signature on the bottom)
• NOTHING INAPPROPRIATE you can figure out where the limit is, just nothing above a PG  rating (so that gives you a lot of room if you've seen any PG movies recently). If you think it might be going to far, don't worry, send it in and we'll decide for you. 
• If you use a reference photo, I would like to see that, too.
• No tracing
• Other useful things to know
• You can use whatever medium you want. It can be a hand drawn picture or a Photoshop of many pictures or a 3D image. Whatever you want. 
• (Photoshop) You can use other peoples art/pictures, just as long as you source them
• (Photoshop) You do not need to use a quote or anything if you dont want to.
• If you already published you picture on another site, you can still send it in.
• Cross-overs are allowed
• Have fun!

Fan Fiction

• Rules

What's with the voodoo doll??

Hello fellow POTC fans! Mysticalshadow here!

The end of On Stranger Tides is a bit nerve racking I'd say, because it shows Angelica smiling creepily as she picks up this voodoo doll that just washed up on the shore. This voodoo doll can be used to kill or torture Jack Sparrow!! And at the moment, I think Angelica is a bit mad, to say the least, at Jack for dumping her on a deserted island. What do you think she is going to do to Jack?  Drown him? Hug him? Stab him? Kiss him on the cheek? Choke him? Braid his dreadlocks? Rip him...that's wierd...I wonder what that would look like to just start ripping for "no reason" in the middle of the street... Anyways, comment below if you have any idea's on what she might do to get revenge!

Those who did not like POTC 4...

Syrena here! Ok, I have heard a couple of people say they ddn't like POTC 4 becuase it was "So different from the others.." but the thing is, there are going to be six movies...what if they all had the exact same feel to them? We would get bored of it right? 

Ugh! I hate it whe people say they didn't like it....POTC 4 was amazing!

When people say they don't like POTC four, I react like this, "Wow, you're crazy..." but in my mind I'm reacting more like this:

Quick Update

Hey everyone, Shaak here.

So earlier today I talked to the other girls about what we wanted to do with the club and the blog. The reason not much has happened with either is because we've only had two meetings, due to me being out of town for the month (the ship is in my back yard). The month before I left, Syrena was in the south (I think Louisiana), so we couldn't get everything we wanted to done in that meeting (we ended up watching Doctor Who). Then all of the other times we tried to get all four of us together something came up and do that never happened. We're planning on having an other meeting next week.

But back to the point: we are a blog by the fans, for the fans (I seriously think I'm copying that, but I don't know we're from!). We want to do things like having you (our wonderful followers :)) submit fan fiction and fan art. We may go somewhere with this, maybe not.

I can't say any more about our plans until the girls and I talk it over.

PS. Any Doctor Who fans out there? What did you think about the S7 premier! *amyroryoswindoctorfeels*
